Birds of Interior Alaska
Mew Gull
Larus canus
Mew gulls are scavengers who will eat almost anything they can find but
they will catch and kill their food too.
Alright students: are they insectivores, carnivores, herbivores, or omnivores?

Mew gulls are easiest recognized in flight by the small size and
a quarter-sized white patch on the otherwise black tipped wing.

Webbed feet help gulls swim very well.
