Call For Volunteers
Like Uncle Sam, we need you! I treasure volunteers, and do everything I can to help them find a personally rewarding use for their time. Your efforts allow me to spend more of my time on developing lessons, new units, or giving more individual attention to my scholars. Would you like to work with students, help develop a web project, assist on field trips, coordinate a party, listen to readers, assist a learner during a lesson, assist with an art lesson, organize the monthly book club, or <your idea here>? Perhaps you would like to work on something at home, copy materials, or help with our ice cream sale once a week. Please contact me and arrange a time. You are always welcome to schedule volunteer time in our classroom!

Working with students
Some of the most rewarding, and fun, experiences happen while helping a young scholar succeed. This help can take many forms, including letting a young reader show off their skills by reading to you, or encouraging students as they tackle math/reading/writing skills during an in-class assignment.

Projects and office-type help
Would you like to be a party coordinator, prepare materials for bulletin boards, run a copier, fix something, make something, do some computer work, or collect recycled reading material for our classroom library?
