Jim's hobbies: Fishing

Fishing has necessarily become less of the passion it once was since I began teaching, and particularly since Isaac's birth. I continue to fish and am interested in collecting a photo record of interior Alaska's fresh water gamefish. If you have a picture to contribute attach it to an email and I'll consider it.

I had some luck fishing for burbot (Lota lota) recently with my friend Craig.

The single chin barbel and doubled dorsal place this medium-sized fish in the tasty category of freshwater cod.
